"Almanach" serie enters Mutuum’s collection

I’m honored to announce that the Almanach serie enters the Mutuum’s collection.

“Mutuum’s collection, itinerant in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, gathers for more than 10 years, the works of about 40 artists, graduated from art schools, living in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and beyond (France, Korea, Japan, Germany, Morocco, Austria, Brazil, the USA…). Mutuum offers broadcasting and participatory mediation actions through the monographic series constituting the Mutuum Collection.
Mutuum allows communities, multimedia libraries, schools, associations, nursing homes, university hospitals or companies to imagine a cultural project and to borrow hives of exhibitions, i.e., 10 works by the same artist.”

“Almanach comprises a series of 20 visuals; 10 of these photographic sheets have joined the Mutuum Collection. On each of them, you can discover shots of the same place wandered by Gilles Sage in different seasons, between 2017 and 2022. The layout of each sheet becomes in and of itself a composition that conveys a singular and elaborate artistic intention. The images—sometimes coming one after another or overlapping to the memory of the place—underline the fleeting nature of a perception of reality, already archived, numbered, dated.”
